Kinder transports
Summary
There were thousands of children who went from Berlin to sanctuary in England by train. The first train left in 1938. The children were escaping the holocoasts.
The Jewish leaders were setting preasure to England that they have a refuge for the Jewish children. The English leaders said that they would not make any obstacles for that. They could allow as many children that could come in to England.
There were 2 sisters who lived in Tjeckoslovakia and there parents said to them that they were going to England for a holiday and then they're parents would fetch them back. The little sister believed it but not the big sister, the big sister who was four years older realised that it were much more serious.
Another Jewish child who was being sent off to England were Birgitta Mars. Her mother said to her quietly that she was being sent off to England with alot of other boys and girls. And if it goes well, her parents would come with her too.
At the train station, there were parents crying and screaming everywere, some off them even fainted. All the parents wanted to get the last look of them, and the last wave before the train left. And all the cildren wanted to be near the window, so they could see they're parents and wave goodbye to them.
Every child where only allowed by the nazis to take with them one suitcase, one piece of handluggage and ten riechmark. That was all they had with them.
When the train arrived to the german border it was alot of soliders coming into the compartments and made the cildren push everything into the middle and the soliders destroyed it all. It was horrible. And all the way to England the children was afraid they would come again, but lucky enough they didn't.
There were arriving thousands of cildren every month with the kindertransports and most of them didn't know how to speak English at all. There were one teacher that were trying to teach them a few words by English. And the last kindertransport train left Germany at September 1st 1939, 2 days before Brittian went to war against Germany.
The international red kross helped to transport letters between the parents and there kids. But after a few years, it stopped. The children was in concentrationcamps and the most children cried at the night because they missed thier mummy. It was even one that threw herself out of a window and one that had an nervous breakdown and suddenly couldn't walk at all. It was very cold there and they lived in huts. They only had blankets and warm bottles to keep their self warm.
Some children got foster homes in England and some reunited with thier parents but thier relationship never got the same after the trauma. But the most of the children never saw there parents agian.
The kindertransprts saved about 10 000 jewish children.
My own thoughts and reflections
I can't even image how hard it had to be to live at that time. It must have been really horrible. To not know if your parents are alive or not, and to never see their parents/kids ever agian must be horrible. But it was good that they could send letters at first, bad that it stoped, cause I would just long after letters all the time and get super exited when I got letters from my parents, to hear thier thoughts and that they miss me and stuff like that. They could cumminicate with eachother that way.
The kindertransports was a very, very smart thing according to me. Cause how many more wouldn't die if the children stayed there they lived? Almost all of them would die. And to hear that they saved about 10 000 Jewish children with the kindertransports is really good. And the parents could know that thier children was safe, and if I was a parent at that time, I would be very relieved that my kid were safe. The only bad thing is that they had to be seperated from theier parents/kids, but in my opinon it was worth it.

Genetive 's

Men annars gick allt bra!
Bröd
Ca 2 bullar
Ingredienser:
1 krm salt
½ - 1 msk fett
- Sedan sätter man in dem i ugnen i 225 C° i ca 10-15 tills dem blir gyllen bruna.
- Klara!
gott.

About a boy
1. My favourite scene of the film was when Marcus was singing infront of the whole school for his mother and Will took an guitar and played with him despite everyone in the whole school was laughing at Marcus. I think it was a very brave thing to do for both Marcus and Will. I also think it was cute that will tried to save/support Marcus when he sang.
2. A person that means much to me is my little sister, well I have two little sisters that means much to me, but I'm going to write about my smallest little sister Julienne because it's a more age difference between ous (14 years).
So my littlesister means really much to me, even if she can't talk or understand so much.
Just to hear her laugh makes me happy. And when she comes running to me when I come home from school, or when she banks on my door on the morning on the weekends to wake me up, or when she talks baby language to me, or when she wants to follow me out when I go somewhere and goes to the door and she waves good bye to me, those are just a few small things that she does to make my day better.
3. ''Growing up has nothing to do with age''. I think that they mean that you can be as childish as you want and still be an adult or the opposite, a child can act very mature and adult. Numbers can't tell you how a person is, it's just how young you feel.
But it can also mean that, If we take Wll for example and compare how he acted and was a a person in the begining of the film and compare him with Will at the end of the film, he had grown up alot, not in siffers but in person. He had nothing that meant something to him from the begining, He didn't have a meaning of life. But at the end of the movie, he had meaning of life, he had alot of people that meant much to him, and he was happy. And that's a big change for him, he had grown much.

English homework week 37
My schoolmates are nice and friendly.
I'm afriad to be stabbed in my back.
I can prove it!
I'm on the interstate highway right now.
My opponent is really hard to beat.
I'm gonna get my revenge because ever since he said that joke about me, everyone laughs at me.
I want a shoot-out, right here, right now.
I love entertainment, can you entertain me?
Some people get hooked on computer games while some get hooked on shopping or drugs.
They shoot at two vehicles in ohio. One man died and a women was injured.
I've never been sleepwalking in my whole life. I mean, how can you walk in your sleep?
Some computer games have an mature rating so those who are under 17 arn't allowed to play them.
I'm going to commit suicide soon because I hate my life so much!
You can store the food in the fridge.
Have you ever had a trauma? A really bad one?
They players I play against on my computer is virtual opponents.
They have been researching about that medicin of yours, and they didn't find one single flaw.
Some say that playing computer games too often can desensitize you so you get imune to the horror of death.

by = Att man måste säga vem som äger bilden.

About a boy
WILL
Will is a 36 year old man that lives in a nice flat with a nice car. He is really rich and hadn't had one single job in his whole lfe. You probably wonder how he can be so rich then. Will's Grandfather wrote an really successful christmas song in the 30's that he got royaltys every time omeone was recording the song, but his grandfather is dead now so will gets all the money. So every time he gets bored he goes, abroad for few days. He has a really simple lifestyle, he does half-hour things on the afternoon, like bath, read the papper and stuff like that. And on some of the evenings he joins a pub quiz team. They're not that close friends but they're friends enough for an enjoyable dinner sometimes. He also sends occasional email to them.
Will also has a lot of girlfriends but whenever a relationship is growing and becamos serious, he ends it. He dosn't want to get married or have a family, he dosn't want to have responsibility of kids. he prefers the life he got now.
Will looks in the paper sometimes, when someone has put an ad in it, but when he seeks the jobs the employer always say no.

All the kids in he's school play video games and listen to ''rubbish music'' but he can't do that because of his mum. He has to argue with his mum for hours and he still can't play videogames and stuff like that. He wants to make a difference with that. But he has atleast his gameboy that he got of his dad, his glad to who invented the gameboy.
